I recently had the pleasure of staying at Grey Stone, nestled in the heart of Gjirokastër, which offers an enticing blend of luxury and practicality. The location couldn't be better; it's perfectly situated for exploring the old town. With four single beds in the airy room and air conditioning, we were quite comfortable as a family. One notable feature was the reserved parking spot right outside the door, a lifesaver in the busy bazaar. The owner was accommodating and even repaired my daughter's sandal-an unexpected touch of kindness. The bathroom was functional but could benefit from a shelf for toiletries. Given the cleanliness, free Wi-Fi, and warm hospitality, I found Grey Stone to provide good value. While not extravagant, it offers a charming experience that aligns well with Gjirokastër's character, making it a wise choice amidst the luxury options available.
